Grant Source
WSDS is a federally funded "state needs" grant through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction. We receive monies from the US Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs to provide services specifically to children with deaf-blindness ages 0-21. In addition, WSDS Project receives funding through DSHS's Infant Toddler Early Intervention Project and Department of Health Genetic Services to provide identification of children ages birth to five who have sensory disabilities. This includes professional development for early intervention staff.
North Central Educational Service District is the administrative and fiscal manager for all of the funding sources.
