- Provides technical administrative support to District Superintendent(s) within the field of human resources management, which commonly consists of confidential and sensitive issues.
- Counsels with district administrators, supervisors and employees regarding policy interpretation, employee relations and problem resolution.
- Monitors current personnel policies and procedures and assists districts in interpreting Board Policies; writes, presents and defends all personnel policies.
- Assists with and/or lead district union contract negotiations, certificated and classified.
- Provides assistance in interpretation of district collective bargaining agreements.
- Provides training and/or assistance in Interest Based Bargaining process if desired.
- Provides required Sexual Harassment training to district staff annually as required
- Coordinates or provides other district staff training as needed
- Provides assistance to districts in the area of recruitment: Principals, Directors, Certificated and Classified positions.
- Assists districts with development of certificated and classified position screening and interviewing criteria and tools.
- Assist with personnel selection process and record-keeping procedures.
- Assists with Family Leave Act (FMLA) compliance.
- Monitors compliance of Personnel Files and related records (I-9, FMLA, Sexual Misconduct forms and processes, medical, insurance, etc.)
