NCESD Adds To Team

The North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) has announced the hires of Darcy Johnson and Bill Eagle as Associate Directors of Student Success and Learning.

“In our continuing efforts to strive for excellence, we have examined the support needed within the 29 districts we serve. This resulted in merging our Student Services and Teaching and Learning Departments under one umbrella, now called Student Success and Learning.  As we bring together this new department, we will continue to take an asset-based approach to our skillsets and expertise, and feel confident that this effort will result in a stronger and more responsive approach in supporting the districts of North Central Washington,” explained Linda McKay, NCESD Assistant Superintendent.

Darcy Johnson most recently served as the Special Services Director at the Moses Lake School District. She is a National Board-Certified Teacher with a Masters of Education Administration and a major in K-12 Special Education. In her role at the NCESD she will focus on Special Services, OSSI, Students with Disabilities and General Education instructional and CORE support and systems for district administration, building principals, teachers, and support staff.

Bill Eagle most recently served as the Director of State and Federal Programs for the Wenatchee School District. Previously, he has served as a Principal, Assistant Principal, Instructional Coach, and Teacher in the Wenatchee School District. Eagle holds a Masters in Mathematics Education and Principal and Superintendent certifications. His focus at the NCESD will be TPEP and BEST, OSSI, Principal Instructional Leadership and Principal Mentorship, Root cause data analysis, General Education, Federal Programs and Categorical program support and integration as they relate to the instructional CORE.

Both Johnson and Eagle will begin in their new roles with the NCESD on July 1.
