Regional High School Art Show Award Winners

The 27th Annual North Central Washington Regional High School Art Show was shown at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center from March 4 through March 25. The nine Best of Show winners in the exhibit will be representing the North Central Washington region in the 33rd Annual Superintendent's High School Art Show April 21 - June 1 at the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), Old Capitol Building, 600 Washington Street South, Olympia.

This year’s judge, Museum Exhibits Curator Terri White, selected 33 award winners in 9 different categories (Painting, Drawing, Photography, Graphic Arts, Decorative Arts, Three Dimensional, Mixed Media and the Best of Show) from over 130 entries. An additional award winner, the Wenatchee Valley Museum Director’s Choice winner, was chosen by Dr. Keith Williams. The award winners, all artists and family and friends were honored at reception on Saturday, March 4 with special guest AnnRenè Joseph, Program Supervisor, the Arts, from OSPI in attendance.

Chosen by Dr. Keith Williams, Director of the Museum. The winner will be asked to select between a $100 honorarium and a $200 purchase award (with the artwork becoming a part of the Museum’s permanent collection).
