NCW Workers’ Compensation Trust Cooperative

The NCESD administers the North Central Washington (NCW) Workers’ Compensation Trust, which promotes a safe and healthy work environment, safety programs and encourages return to work in the event of an injury.  Claims for the trust are managed through Matrix Absence Management, TPA.  The trust is responsible for monitoring medical cost, lost wages, and pension benefits.  The NCW Workers’ Comp Trust goal is to promote risk management services, and provide safety trainings thus reducing accidents and saving districts money.

Suzanne Reister, Program Manager, is the liaison between the districts, employees and the third party administrator.  Suzanne manages the trust and is responsible for a variety of risk management services to districts, specific district safety trainings, claims reviews and work place analysis.  Also we have a Hearing Conservation Program and on-line SafeSchools trainings available.  We also assist districts with DOSH required Accident Prevention Programs and provides support to the trust.
