WAEOP President Nan Hensley, Louise Schmutzler, and WAEOP Awards Chair, Eldene Wall

This distinguished award, nominated by Louise Schmutzler, treasurer of WVEOP, will be awarded April 23 at the WAEOP Spring Conference in Tacoma. Louise will attend to receive the award on behalf of the group. In her nomination Louise stated, “We are very proud of our achievements to date . . . including worthwhile meetings, successful installation banquets, and two outstanding Professional Growth Conferences.”

WVEOP, formerly known as Apple Valley Educational Office Professionals, was reactivated in 2003, and is composed of educational office workers in Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan Counties. The mission of WVEOP is to “promote the professional standards of our diverse membership through networking, information, and educational opportunities.”
