Highlights of the March 18 meeting included a presentation by Dale Kinsley, WSLA Director, who shared key elements of the Washington State Leadership Academy. Presenting legislative information via K-20 were Barbara Mertens, WASA, and Dan Steele, WSSDA. Other updates were presented by Martin Mueller from OSPI; Mack Armstrong from WASA, and Garn Christensen, Eastmont, who shared an update from AASA.
In a special presentation, Dr. Richard Johnson was honored with a dedication in the "Pass It On" Teachers Make a Difference book in recognition for his long-term service to our ESD region. Dr. Johnson has served as Superintendent of the Okanogan S.D. for over 20 years.
