The core offering is implementation of Project Success, a proven comprehensive prevention and intervention program. On the prevention side Project Success includes a 6-8 session prevention curriculum for all 9th grade students, prevention club, SAS staff participation in a prevention coalition, and consultation for and with parents and school staff. On the intervention side Project Success includes individual intervention for students with alcohol, tobacco, or other drug issues as well as a variety of educational group interventions. The program includes intervention with voluntary students and with those caught violating school district policies.
Costs:
20% cash match required at Prevention Redesign Initiative sites. Additional staffing beyond allocation is available at actual per day cost to the ESD.
