Overview

Take a deep dive into the role of Washington’s forests in climate change resiliency.

Join the Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and ClimeTime partners to take a deep dive into the role of Washington’s forests in climate change resiliency. Participants will learn about the solutions-oriented learning storyline format, which includes: centering Indigenous perspectives, local anchoring phenomena, culturally responsive practices tied to Since Time Immemorial, NGSS three-dimensional formative assessment, and a solutions-oriented approach to drawing down greenhouse gases with opportunities to elevate student voices in their communities.

This FREE workshop is part of a series of actives that includes: (2) two-hour synchronous virtual sessions (choose one of two options); and, two-hours of asynchronous work.

*** If you cannot attend these dates, there is another option for October 5 and October 12.

Additional Information

Participants who attend both sessions and complete all asynchronous work will receive:

  • A $200 participation stipend
