Megan Brandenburg, Manager of Cyber Security, Chelan County PUD
With close to 25 years of experience in IT, and over 15 years in networking and security, Megan Brandenburg ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Chelan PUD’s technology assets and mitigating cybersecurity risk to the PUD.
During her 20+ year tenure at the PUD, their network security maturity has grown leaps and bounds. Most recently, their new IT leadership has put a spotlight on cybersecurity and have a small team that focuses on taking the program to the next level.
During this event, Megan will be discussing tools the PUD has installed and configured to help detect threats, manage vulnerabilities, and protect resources from malicious actors. She will spend time diving into a case study featuring a new tool that employs machine learning, using mathematical models, to detect anomalous behaviors on the network, and how it is like having another full-time cybersecurity analyst on their team.
