Learn about the new open education resource, “OpenSciEd” middle school cirriculum: high quality, locally adaptable, full-course materials that support equitable science learning. You will be introduced to the design principles and routines of the OpenSciEd curriculum as well as immersed into the anchoring phenomenon routine and student sense-making opportunities; the foundation of every unit in the OpenSciEd curriculum. In day one, explore the first units for each grade level and return for day two to get more in-depth with unit 6.5 Natural Hazards.
