The Expo is open to high school and college students from all across North Central Washington and is projected to see an attendance of approximately 3,000 students from over a dozen of area school districts. The Expo is intended to help students explore a variety of future careers and educational opportunities as they prepare to enter the workforce.

Young people benefit most from early and frequent participation in high-quality career connected learning opportunities. Across the state, and here in the North Central Washington region, educators and local industry professionals are coming together as part of the North Central Career Connect Washington Network to support students with a continuum of career awareness, exploration, preparation and work experiences that engages, trains and inspires students to seek out job while at the same time readying the workforce with the 21st-century skills that employers need.

The NCW Expo has been made possible through generous sponsorship and regional partners including the Washington Home Builders Association, Crunch Pack, Wenatchee Valley College, the Wenatchee Valley Chamber of Commerce, SkillSource, WorkSource, GWATA, and the Wenatchee School District.

The Apple STEM Network is an alliance of K-12, Higher Ed, and community partners in North Central Washington. We represent a diverse region with tremendous potential for STEM industry in agriculture, energies and innovation. With our collective effort we intend to: provide a constructive support system for educators who aim to meet the rising challenge for all students to develop 21st century skills and STEM literacy, to integrate community mentorship and promote authentic project-based learning and field experiences for all levels of education, and engage students in exploring the world of opportunities on the horizon through STEM.
