Nominate Now for Classified School Employee of the Year award

North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) has announced the call for nominations for the Classified School Employee of the Year award. The deadline is January 24, 2019.

School districts throughout the NCESD’s four-county service district are encouraged to nominate outstanding classified school employees for this distinguished award. A classified employee is defined as a person who is employed as a paraeducator and a person who does not hold a professional education certificate or is employed in a position that does not require such a certificate.

A committee will review all nomination submissions and select a winner who will represent the NCESD service district in the statewide selection process. Martha Wisdom was honored as the 2019 winner. Wisdom serves as the Migrant Records Secretary for the Tonasket School District.

Nominations can be made on the OSPI website at https://www.surveygizmo.com/s3/5262829/2020-Classified-School-Employee-of-the-Year-Nomination?fbclid=IwAR3l149x1yTzhzFlGgGcX7la7zcdNl0Dg961rqu3Z9gjc0q-F9E7dtZkyNI

The North Central Educational Service District is a resource to the 29 districts within the four-county service area, providing professional and timely tools to meet the needs of individual schools and districts, and a reliable point of education-related information for the communities served. The NCESD is a respected resource to other ESDs throughout Washington State.
