North Central Educational Service District employees receive statewide honors

The North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) region was well represented at the 2018 Washington Association of Educational Office Professionals (WAEOP) Conference held April 19-21, 2018, in Bellevue.

NCESD Superintendent Dr. Michelle Price was honored as the 2018 WAEOP Administrator of the Year.  Dr. Price has been at the NCESD for nearly a year and prior to that time served as Superintendent of Moses Lake School District where she worked for 27 years. Dr. Price was nominated by Melisa White, CEOE, from Moses Lake School District,

Additionally, Sariann Meredith, CEOE from NCESD, was installed as 2018-19 WAEOP President during the banquet ceremony. Melisa White, CEOE from the Moses Lake School District, was honored as the recipient of the Paula Thomas Distinguished Service Award, one of the most coveted awards in the WAEOP organization. White was nominated by Eldene Wall of the NCESD.

Serving on the WAEOP Board from the NCESD region are Melisa White, CEOE, Moses Lake; Kathy Hendrickson, Ephrata; Sariann Meredith, CEOE, NCESD and Eldene Wall, CEOE, NCESD.
