North Central Educational Service District releases Annual Report

The North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) has released the 2018 Annual Report. It is available for review on the District’s website at https://www.ncesd.org/about-us/annual-report/

The Report is intended to provide an overview of NCESD services, highlight selected programs, and state District impact.

“It is with great pride that the team of professionals at North Central Educational Service District embraces the opportunities and responsibilities with which we are blessed.  We provide a wide array of programs, services and support to 29 public school districts in North Central Washington. As one of Washington’s nine ESDs, our mission is to provide leadership and quality service in advocating for innovative educational programs for the children and communities we serve.   We promote and support educational excellence through the provision of essential, cooperative services to schools, learning communities and valued partners. This Report has been designed to highlight these efforts,” explained NCESD Superintended Dr. Michelle Price.

The Report is also released in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the statewide system of Educational Service Districts. In 1969, ESDs were formed when individual County Superintendent of School offices were consolidated and reorganized to reduce duplication, equalize educational opportunities, and provide a more effective reporting and accountability system to the state legislature.
