Regional High School Art Contest Winners Announced

We’re thrilled to announce the Best of Show winners from the Regional High School Art Contest.

Amilia Anic from Okanogan High School won for her piece The Monster Within.  It is an outstanding drawing that received awards at the regional level as well as a tuition waiver from CWU. Lucy Bordner from Chelan High School has been recognized for her piece titled Lucy Bordner.  She also won awards from the regional judging and CWU.  And, third on the list is Viviana Pruneda of Warden High School.  Her piece titled The Life of an Apple took a prize in painting.  Congratulations to these three and all the students who participated! 

 These students will receive special recognition at the awards ceremony and reception on May 19th  from 1 – 3 pm at OSPI.

The Regional High School Art Show opened at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center on March 3. Young artists from all over North Central Washington showcased their best work in this annual exhibit, now in its 38th year. The NCESD is proud to join with the Museum and the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI).
