Overview

This interactive, discussion-based workshop will invite staff to explore what equitable, rigorous instructional and grading practices look like in practice. Grounded in Grading for Equity by Joe Feldman, the day will focus on examining how traditional grading systems can unintentionally create barriers, while offering practical, manageable shifts that better support student learning. Teachers will leave with shared language, new perspectives, and a sense of empowerment to reflect on and strengthen their assessment practices over time.
