2024 Regional High School Art Show

Students Showcase Artwork at 45th Annual Regional High School Art Show

The annual Regional High School Art Show opened at the Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center on Friday, March 1. This year’s Art Show showcases 182 pieces submitted by students from 11 North Central Washington schools, with the “Best in Show” selections advancing to statewide competition in Olympia in April. The show is made possible through partnerships with North Central Educational Service District and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.

Judges announced the recipients of the Regional Awards during an awards reception on Saturday, March 16 at the museum. During the judging process, judges looked closely at all the art, judging for first, second and and third place in each category. Students’ names and schools were concealed during this process.

In addition, Central Washington University awarded eight students with tuition waivers. These students were selected by Gregg Schlanger, Dean of Art & Design at Central Washington University. Congratulations to the following students: Mykla Smith, Jesus Gonzalez, Maurice Brown, Kimberly Strong, Lexi Ann Vargas, Emma Banker, Mariah Spencer, and Selena Hernandez.

Congratulations to all students who submitted artwork this year! Below are the pieces that received awards:
