NCW Workers’ Compensation Pool

The NCESD administers the North Central Washington (NCW) Workers’ Compensation Pool, which promotes a safe and healthy work environment, safety programs and encourages return to work in the event of an injury. Claims for the pool are managed through Matrix Absence Management, TPA. The pool is responsible for monitoring medical cost, lost wages, and pension benefits. The NCW Workers’ Comp Pool goal is to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Program Contacts

Paul Harrison is the liaison between the districts, employees and the third party administrator.  Paul manages the pool and along with a team of Loss Control Specialists is responsible for a variety of risk management services to districts, specific district safety trainings, claims reviews and work place analysis, as well as a Hearing Conservation Program, DOSH Required Accident Prevention Programs, and SafeSchools training program.
