Level 1 Threat Assessment Training

Threat Assessment Training, Level 1: A brief review of supportive research and the best practice prescriptive recommendations for assessment and management This free training gives an overview Level 1 Threat Assessments, including the application of threat assessment concepts and research in a site-based protocol called a Level 1.

FCS01 Introduction to Identity and Cultural Diversity

This four-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their understanding of the Fundamental Course of Study (FCS) requirements, specifically Cultural Identity and Diversity.

FCS06 Equity

This three-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their understanding of ways to respond to racism, discrimination, and stereotypes.

Active Shooter/Intruder Training

During this training, participants will learn preparation for and response techniques to an active shooter emergency within their building.

NCESD Regional Attendance Professional Learning Community PLC

This 3-part series will provide opportunities for school and district administrators & attendance professionals to network, share resources, identify and overcome systemic barriers and plan for sustainability of attendance and reengagement efforts.

FCS08 Child and Adolescent Development

This two-hour professional learning opportunity is for instructional paraeducators, K-12. Participants will deepen their knowledge of how developmental stages impact students physically, emotionally, academically and socially.

FCS04 Using and Collecting Data

This 1 hour professional learning opportunity will prepare paraeducators within their district to understand and use data collection effectively for assessment and instruction.
