Overview

Is your school moving to a more inclusive model? Are you wondering how you can support that shift as a Speech Language Pathologist? Come join us for two sessions to learn how to step away from the speech room and into the classroom.

Objectives

  • Participants will gain an understanding of ASHA recommendations in terms of the approach, settings, and scheduling of inclusive speech and language therapy services.
  • Participants will learn how to write an inclusive IEP from goals to services to accommodations.
  • Participants will understand how to support gen ed teacher lessons with principles of UDL.
