As one of Washington’s nine Educational Service Districts, North Central ESD provides leadership and quality services to support school districts, educational staff, and partners serving the children and communities in the North Central Washington region and across the state.
Driven by the needs of the school districts we serve, North Central ESD offers more than 140 programs and services that address all areas of K-12 education and administration. This support creates a wrap-around of services that allow districts to prioritize resources to strengthen the work they are already doing in their schools and classrooms.
Statewide Program Striving to Create Inclusive Environments for Every Student Continues to Grow
MASH started in 2020 with one team of three part-time staff members. Due to the program’s profound impact on students and community, the demand only increased for its services and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and effective support. Going into the 2023-2024 school year, 60 students state-wide are being served by the program’s three-full time teams of multiple behavior specialists.

North Central Educational Service District (NCESD) serves and supports 29 public school districts across Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan counties. Seven districts are welcoming incoming superintendents for the 2023-24 school year.
