Public invited to Occupation Exploration event in Partnership with SGL Composites LLC
The Apple STEM Network will host an Occupation Exploration event in Partnership with SGL Composites LLC, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Occupation Exploration is an opportunity for regional youth and their families to make connections between real-world experiences and classroom learning. These Career-Connected Learning Experiences help young people better prepare for their future education and career while exploring local career options.
Students, parents, and educators attending Occupation Exploration will have an opportunity to engage directly with professionals, onsite, to learn about the role, training pathways and development opportunities.
SGL Carbon is a technology-based company, focused on providing smart solutions of the future including; mobility, energy and digitization. SGL Composites, Moses Lake, WA produces the foundational product for our business unit; carbon fibers, used in three main industries of the future; Automobile, Aerospace and Wind Energy.
This event will showcase a few of the highly valued occupations at SGL Composites LLC including: engineering, production manager and maintenance technician.
