What is SCRIPT?

SCRIPT is a nationally recognized Strategic CSforALL Resource & Implementation Planning Tool (SCRIPT) to help districts prepare a custom strategic plan for the implementation of K-12 Computer Science education.

The SCRIPT tool is a framework to guide teams of district administrators, school leaders, and educators through a series of collaborative visioning, self-assessment and goal-setting exercises to create or expand upon a computer science education implementation plan for their students.

Participating districts will leave the workshop with:

  1. A vision statement for CS in your district, a strategic plan that outlines clear, actionable, goals for 3 months, 6 months and 1 year.
  2. The CSforAll workshop sessions are grounded in best educational practices and the strategic planning process could be useful for other disciples as well.
  3. Connect with several community and industry regional partners that can support your CS education efforts.
