Level 2 Community Partner Threat Assessment ZOOM Training

Building on the August 15-18 training series, “Introductory Motivational Interviewing for Student Support Professionals,” this advanced series will develop your practical Motivational Interviewing skills to better engage your students, reduce your stress, and facilitate people owning their change process.

Paraeducators: Supporting Structured Literacy

Participants will deepen their understanding of Structured Literacy and the Science of Reading. Specifically working with small groups and individualized instruction. This session will fulfill 5 of the required 14 General Paraeducator Certification hours for the 2022-23 school year.

Join us for our monthly Cyber Meetup events! These events are designed for business, education, technology, and community partners to come together for collaborative learning and discussion on technology topics. Every event features a short presentation from a technology professional, discussion, and time for networking.

Regional Elementary Special Education Cohort Meeting

Join the NCESD for monthly virtual regional cohort meetings for special education elementary teachers. This is a place for K-6 resources and life skills educators to learn, ask questions, connect, and share resources with other teachers in the North Central Washington region.

Science of Reading (Online)

This professional learning opportunity is for PreK - 6 teachers, paraeducators, reading specialists and coaches to gain deeper understanding of the Science of Reading, Structured Literacy lesson planning, and support for all students in a Multi-tiered Systems of Support to achieve literacy success for all.

Science In Our Valley: Human and Algorithmic Bias in AI

Science in Our Valley seminars run every Wednesday starting September 28 and ending November 16. All events are free and open to the public at the WSU Tree Fruit Research & Extension Center (1100 N Western Ave, Wenatchee) from 4pm to 5pm. Prior registration is not required to attend these events.

Solutions Oriented Learning Storylines: Fire with NCESD

Join Pacific Education Institute (PEI) and our ClimeTime partners for a deep dive into Wildfire and Forest Management. Participants will learn about the Fire-themed Solutions Oriented Learning Storyline, designed around six guiding principles.
