WE ARE ONE.
This document details values that we believe hold true during this confusing and frustrating time.

Child Care Aware of Washington’s Family Center is a resource for families looking for child care in Washington State. If your family is in need, call the free referral service to receive information on finding a high-quality licensed child care provider in your area. Child Care Aware of Washington can also help determine if your family is eligible for financial assistance to pay for care.

Families needing a list of referrals to licensed child care may call Child Care Aware of Washington at 1-800-446-1114 between 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

If your family is experiencing homelessness, they may have special resources available to help your family pay for child care. On July 3, 2017 Working Connections implemented a homeless grace period (HGP) of 120 days to families experiencing homelessness. Homelessness and income verification are the only eligibility criteria to obtain a full-time child care subsidy for 120 days.  If you know of a family experiencing homelessness that needs support accessing child care, you may have them call 1-800-446-1114.
