NCW Cyber Meetup – Cyber Warfare 2023: AI, ChatGPT, and beyond (June 2023)

Join us for our monthly Cyber Meetup events! These events are designed for business, education, technology, and community partners to come together for collaborative learning and discussion on technology topics. Every event features a presentation from a technology professional, discussion, and time for networking.

Instructional Coaches Institute – Virtual

Learn from one another about professional development efficacy, best practices for coaching, coaching strategies, new teacher mentoring, innovative teacher support methods, coaching cycles, and more.

C.A.R.E. Suicide Prevention Training

C.A.R.E. (Compassionate Assessment and Response in Education) is youth suicide prevention, intervention, and postvention training for school staff. The CARE curriculum is approved by Washington State PESB to meet the training requirement for all ESA certificate holders.

GLAD® Implementation Principal’s PLC

This PLC is designed for principals and school leaders in the various stages of GLAD ® implementation. There will be time to network with other schools in the region and learn from each other.

Level 1 Threat Assessment Training and Learning Lab

Threat Assessment Training, Level 1, including direct instruction on conducting Level 1 threat assessments at a school level, and the process for referral to a community-based Level 2 threat assessment support team.

Building Thinking Classrooms

Participants will have a unique opportunity to learn directly from the developer of the "Building Thinking Classroom" framework, and experience first hand a number of the 14 strategies presented in the book "Building Thinking Classrooms in Mathematics".
